The house is situated on the West side of the Kyle of Tongue, overlooking the sea. 152 is part of a string of houses, dating from the Highland Clearances, where people were moved from the fertile valleys to the less fertile coastal areas to make way for sheep! Originally, 152 was 2 croft houses before conversion in 1976 and in front of the houses are the 'crofts' (fields), running down to the sea.
